ARE YOU READY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY?
 
We use our knowledge of local issues to identify areas of need, then apply our expertise and diverse perspectives to the problem. Our Rotary members are most likely at work in your community right. Our club proudly:
  • Sponsors the Student of the Month at Palmyra High School and gives each one a scholarship
  • Gives a dictionary to every third grade student in the Palmyra School District
  • Places American flags along Main Street and Railroad Street for Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Patriot Day and Veterans Day.
  • Places the Flags for Heroes display at the middle school for Memorial Day and Veterans Day
  • Conducts a roadside clean-up on Rt 422 from Rutters to the Sinkhole Saloon in fall and spring
  • Sponsors and participates in the Holiday Parade and the Memorial Day Parade
  • Volunteers monthly at the Caring Cupboard
  • Performs maintenance and upgrade projects at the Palmyra Community Pool
  • Places Peace Poles in our local community
  • Collects plastics to earn Trex benches for local organizations
  • Holds community events such as our annual golf outing, chili cookoff, and Pints for Polio fundraisers
  • Holds low cost pet vaccine clinics to benefit the community
